Our History
Meadowbrook
School was built in 1955 in response to the
increasing population in Lachine. It was
formally opened on October 14th. The ceremony,
chaired by Colonel Kenneth Sheldrick was
indicative of the community spirit that
continues at Meadowbrook. Mr. Donald Watson was
the first principal.
Since the formation of the linguistic school
boards in 1998, Meadowbrook has been part of the
Lester B. Pearson School Board. With its dynamic
staff and supportive community, Meadowbrook
continues to look forward to a bright future.
